I'm very confused; there was a cool-looking meme I'm sure I saw on my friends list earlier today when I didn't have a chance to replicate it, and now it's gone. And I can't remember what it was or who had it. Instead, I guess I'll do the ( seven deadly sins )

GIP & icon query

I didn't make the new icon, but I can't remember who did, either. Anyway, of the following two, which should I use (or both, since 50 is really an awful lot)?

I really want to make a more-obviously-Michael-Whelan Michael Whelan icon, but ever since the archives got removed from his official site, the only access I have to most of his pictures is by scanning them in from my beautiful, lovely, wonderful book of his art. And a lot of those have a strange silver line across the bottom from the ink rubbing off the previous page. Besides, I'd have to actually figure out what picture to use. I was thinking the cover of The Changeling Sea, given as how that's also one of my very favorite books. *ponders*
