Quand il pleut, il grêle
Yeah. The heat didn't break, but it rained. Only, it hailed, first, and some of the stones were nearly half an inch in diameter. I heard cracking sounds, saw drops; I thought that it was simply the heat that was causing the rain to make such noises. Nope; it was the sound of ice hitting the pavement. Then that stopped, and there was thunder and lightening. And then the skies opened....
You know, I was going to make this a very poetic entry. But instead, I'm at an internet café with very little time on the meter. I probably won't be able to check e-mail tomorrow at all, but after that, I should have free access! Yippee!
I'm moved in to the Cité, which is where I'm staying for the rest of the month. I feel sort of like I'm back at college.
