Just discovered slash100, which allows me to feed my drabble habit a little bit more. So there's an R-rated drabble from me there, and another drabble (with a slightly longer version attached) at random_hundreds.
She's the main thing that put me off the whole series when I happened to see a snippet of it on TV. I agree the drabble is cool, but would be cooler if it didn't involve having to imagine Buffy having sex.
But that's just dumb, because there are obviously other characters. And just because you don't think she's pretty doesn't mean that she doesn't do a good Buffy.
Now, are you going to be a good girl and go get Mike and Aileen to show you all of BtVS in order from the beginning, or am I going to have to find their e-mails myself and tell them to force you to watch it?
Anyway, look, if you would enjoy the drabble more sans Buffy, imagine some other blonde who's about Buffy's size and shape. Anyway, since when were you visual enough to be picturing the scene, anyway? ;)
there are obviously other characters True, but it's a reasonable prediction that Buffy gets the most screen time!
just because you don't think she's pretty That's definitely not the problem. I think she's perfectly pretty, in a vapid, over-glossy, Hollywood-ish sort of way. It was mostly her voice and personality that put me off (I say nothing at all about S-M Geller, as a person, cos I've only ever seen her as Buffy).
are you going to be a good girl and go get Mike and Aileen to show you all of BtVS in order from the beginning You know I can't say no to you. In principle yes, but probly after I come back from NY, cos I'm kinda busy just now. Along with getting the stupid hot water problem sorted out, and doing up the bathroom, and a few other things that I'm supposed to have done by now but have got way too distracted.
And I told you before I am not going to sit and watch every episode from all seven series :-p
imagine some other blonde who's about Buffy's size and shape This is a good idea. But it slightly defeats the object of the whole slash thing, no?
since when were you visual enough to be picturing the scene, anyway? I didn't say picture, I said imagine. Some of your descriptions are quite visual, which helps even someone like me. But I can't really picture this particular scene as I have almost no idea what Faith looks like (other than that she has dark hair).

Some episodes, yes; others, not at all.

*counts on fingers* Two years, girl, it's been two years!!

I didn't say all at once. But you miss crucial things if you don't watch at least most of them. There are, admittedly, episodes that aren't really worth watching more than once, but if you never see them there's all sorts of byplay and whatnot that have relevance later that you won't know about.

Mm, not entirely sure. I mean, it's about the characters, which obviously includes what they look like, but you don't even know their personalities in the first place, so why is it problematic not to have their appearance, either?
I have almost no idea what Faith looks like
That's easy enough to solve. You know the "Xander's women" icon I posted the other day? She's the one who's peering through a window. The second picture after the 'Xander's women' text frame.
