The following comment on my lyric wheel story made me laugh lots and lots:
I don't believe that Spike and Xander could ever possibly get together, or that either one would want to, so I'm mentally positing it in an alternate universe.
It is good, and it has some lovely imagery and intense emotions. (I'm afraid I couldn't believe that semen could ever feel like silk, though. Not unless the silk was wet and sticky.)
Kudos to you for a job well done.

Of course, it depends. Even judging from my hardly extensive experience, texture, colour, and--I have to assume-- taste seem to vary quite a bit.
I've read that nutrition and drug/medicine use can make a difference. Been lucky enough to have had boyfriends who neither smoked nor drank, though. The last one was, bio-chemically, just my perfect match, anyway. Yummy boy all around. Too bad that meager rest, i.e. our personalities, didn't match that well. *g*
So hey, silk may very well be one possible state...
