I got the Mendelssohn solo! Which is so very cool, because I thought I hadn't (since I never got an e-mail, and he said he'd e-mail), and then he announced it during choir. I was very surprised. My parents are therefore coming up to Berkeley for the concert, which is good, as I miss them, and bad, as the house is such a complete disaster zone.

leech and I ate dinner at Tako after choir, mildly reviving an old tradition. Then we went to the library and did work, but he left about 45 minutes ago to go to a beatboxing concert. I'd have liked to go, but I have this annoying presentation in papyrology tomorrow. I can't imagine that I'll end up saying anything at all interesting, at least nothing that everyone else in the class won't also already know simply from what they had to read. Grr. But I am actually doing it, not playing on lj. Really. :P
