The lyrics I got for my Lyric Wheel fic were "The Wake of the Medusa" by The Pogues. Hence my plea of nearly a week ago about the mp3. The fic is due on Friday, and I finally managed to download a copy.... today. So what happens, as soon as it's done downloading? Another of the twelve versions I've had open in Kazaa for the entire week finally decides to download. At least I thought of a direction last night, but it's such an ambitious direction that I really could've used the full ten days to write the thing.

On a sprightlier note, I drabbled, twice.

Use Soulseek - it's more efficient and the RIAA won't sue you (for now).

It looks like it needs to be paid for, though. I think Mozilla's suppression of popups is, for once, being annoying.

Anyway, KazaaLite usually does well by me. I found masses of other songs by the Pogues!

Thanks for the suggestion, anyway, and next time I'm desperate, I may investigate Soulseek more closely. ;)

Nunh uh, 'tis totally free. But if Kazaa usually works for you I say stick with it - I just personally can never get anything to download on it and it slows down my computer like sin.

OK, I was clearly misunderstanding something on the site, then. Possibly, as I said, due to suppression of pop-ups.

Kazaa doesn't slow down my computer, but it definitely slows down e-mail and file-transfers.
