I arrived back safely, albeit on a plane that had been delayed by two hours, thanks to a trifling bit of rain in the San Francisco area. Apparently, idiots designed the airport, because they have to shut down one runway whenever it starts raining.

Went over to girlwithjournal's and watched Alias and several episodes of the British (and original) "Coupling"; it's really, really funny.

The red text seems far less effective to me than the plain white in the Bored vamp!Willow options.

I'd go for the slower morph, but except in a side-by-side comparison, I think I'd be completely unable to tell them apart, so it doesn't really matter there.

Is this a bit like the way British Rail feel the need to stop trains for hours if there's a snowflake on the line? And let's not even mention leaves, those unusual things that suddenly descend once every, er, year and wreak havoc on our noble transport system.

Not actually; it seriously is poor design. Apparently when it's raining, there's not enough visibility for two planes to take off and land simultaneously. :)

But it is like the snowflakes and leaves in that, goodness, this is the Bay Area. Wow, it rains? I'd never have guessed, what with all the talk of poor San Francisco weather and the perpetual fog and moisture.
