Octavian is always so damn hot. But they didn't ask "can you sing awesome high A's?" in the quiz, so I'm suspicious. :)

And it is, in fact, correct.

Technically, I know, when I say words like "stock" and "stalk," they sound the same, but I picture them as slightly different in my head, and in my mouth-shape. If I answer that way, though, it claims I have a midland accent, which I don't. So if I go with how I know they actually come out of my mouth, then it properly places me as west-coast.

Interestingly, if I only answer the questions that I know I learned during high school, rather than ones that I picked up on my own at some point or other, then I only get 80% or 86% (there's one question that I don't know if I learned the answer in high school or not).

ETA: So, I retook the test and every time there was a question that I had been uncertain of before, I chose the other answer that I thought might be correct (or, if there were only two options, I simply chose the other). I got a 220, which tells me that reducing a multiple choice question to two out of four possible answers is really not as good a way to go as they claimed back when I took the SAT.

Gee, as if I haven't got enough displacement already. Why is it that I can think of lots of amorphous but cool-seeming thoughts while I'm reading articles on a subject and wandering aimlessly around campus, and when I actually sit down to write out my ideas I just get a discouraging blank and am forced to find solace in completely irrelevant activities?

I think I've scored a lot lower on the purity test this time than last, which is odd, considering I think I've only done a couple more things. Not sure, though. The haxor handles are just highly amusing.
