I've made some random icons over the past few weeks, so now I'll share.

I made these three for [livejournal.com profile] ats_challenge:

(lyrics from "Fountain of Sorrow" by Jackson Browne)

(lyrics from "Mysterious Ways" by U2)

There's also a slight variant on that last:

These two are, obviously, Illyria icons; the first one I made before watching "Shells," so the text (which isn't a quote from anything, just random) doesn't reflect my knowledge of what happened in that episode:

(lyrics from "China" by Tori Amos)

And, regardless of what you all may have hoped, I have been making a few more Bradbury-Buffy icons (I do plan to do all the titles one day! well, all the titles of the novels and short story collections; I figured I wouldn't deal with pamphlets and plays and stuff):

(If you want to see all the ones I've done so far, they're here.) For "Dark Carnival" I'm still debating between the "I'm a vampire!" cap (which is only funny if you know the context) and the elephant topiary cap; the latter's prettier, but I'm tempted to use that picture for "The Last Circus and the Electrocution." Ooh, I just had an idea for "S is for Space," which had been bugging me. Still at a loss for "The Toynbee Convector" — the story's apparently about time-travel. Oh, and there aren't any caps from the scene I want from the beginning of "The Wish" for "Dandelion Wine"; and I haven't got PowerDVD and hence can't make the cap myself. *sigh* There are others, of course, that I have no ideas for either, but....

Now. I'm thinking about adding a couple of these icons to my own icons; maybe the Cordelia one, the second Illyria one, and I was thinking about "I Sing the Body Electric." Though I like lots of the Bradbury icons, and I might just wait to add one or two of those until I have done them all. (Incentive, and whatnot. You know.)

In any case, want, comment, have.

Love the second Illyria one! You've really turned into quite the icon maker. :)

Sh, Darcy, maybe sure some folks haven't seen Hole in the World/Shells yet? Maybe a spoiler warning? & :->

I think I am the only person in the world who, every time I see this character's name, thinks of the sad and neglected province purported to be governed by Caesar in addition to the two Gauls...

Apparently I am the only person not watching Angel :-P

Hee, thanks-- I saw the ep, so no problem on my part; was just speaking up on behalf of all international folk interested in AtS. & :-)

Well, perhaps. Seems rather late, though, doesn't it? (Yes, I know there are these newfangled things called 'DVDs'. But the fact that I didn't like DB on BtVS makes me think that I won't like him any better on his own show.

And boy, do I *not* need any more distractions than I already have!

Just wanted to say that I like the Bradbury icons! I am a fan of his writing, and thought it is a neat idea. Too bad my favorite story of his (which is my favorite short story EVER) would make a terrible icon *pouts*

Are the Bradbury ones up for grabs? I understand if they aren't; just wondering because there are some cool ones there.

I watch Angel (or I would do if Channel 5 would get their act together and show it again!), but I'm bad and read spoilers, so I didn't mind. And I do like your icons! =)

The story is from The Toynbee Convector and it's called "The Laurel and Hardy Love Affair". It breaks my heart each time I read it. Have you read it? If not, you should :)

And thanks for the icons! I took This Way Wicked Something Comes and Death is a Lonely Business. When I use them, they will be credited in my keywords.
