Yes, there's also Sydney Bristow, before you Alias people out there jump down my throat, but I ran out of space in my list of ten, and also, I have my reasons for preferring at least almost all of the above to her.

Since I've now seen all of Firefly, I'm having great fun suddenly understanding various lj icons regarding which I was completely lost, before. I've also just ordered the Firefly DVDs from Amazon, because they're so very good. Besides, that way it'll be easier to show them to thalassius next year. ;)

I was gonna post something about how Janeway is not attractive, not a good actress, and bitchy (character-wise) but looks like you sorta beat me to it. Jeri Ryan is so much hotter and I think Darcy is talkin' old school Troi, like when the show was on. Hell, I'd choose Beverly Crusher (spelling?) over Janeway!

I wouldn't fault you for not wanting to have sex with Sydney, since that way there'd be more of her for me :) And yes, before you clarify, I *know* you didn't say you didn't want to have sex with her.

I'm with you on Janeway v. Seven of Nine. It's not a matter of who's prettier or a better actress for me; Janeway was always a more interesting character.

I meant Deanna when Next Gen was still one, with the nice curly wig and all. Martina Sirtis is way too old now, and doesn't look at all like Deanna anyway, ever since she stopped wearing the wig for the part.

Actually, as far as Trek babes, I'd take 'em in this order:
Jadzia Dax, then Kira Nerys, both over anyone else.
Then Deanna Troi, and then Keiko O'Brien, Chief Engineer Miles O'Brien's wife,

I think two many people on this thread have been assuming you meant actresses. You specifically use the words 'fictional' AND 'characters'. And characters are WAY more fun to fantasize about, no?

Actually, I really like B'Ellana, too. If I had to choose between her and Janeway, I'm not sure whom I'd pick.

I've watched almost no DS9, so I'm at a loss as to what your personal choices look like. ;)

Definitely. I mean, Cally and Deanna are both telepaths... which aids tremendously in their hotness. I have this odd feeling that the actresses who play them have somewhat lesser mental powers.
