I'm someone who regularly drinks more than I probably should...a fact that I was reminded of at a doctor's appointment yesterday where I had to revise an old form and admit that I drink more than 2-3 drinks a week. I don't think that 2-3 has ever been the case. Maybe I'm more honest now? But on the waking up early thing. It's probably better than you sober up in a semi-conscious state than get your rest, but dehydrate and feel like total hell vs. hydrated though sleep-deprived. We former Wisconsonians know plenty about the science of sobering up.
