leech and I spent the late afternoon and early evening creating this masterpiece as Caitlin's birthday present. The more erudite among you might recognize it as one of Hildegard von Bingen's more obscure works, the words of which are thought to be a setting of the narrative on this nearly contemporary tapestry. No illuminations by Hildegard herself are known to accompany the work in the manuscript of her Scivias.
