Starbuck has something Persephone-ish about her. Specifically, the way she keeps vanishing into Hell, then returning--first to occupied Caprica, then to rape/slavery/really-sick-marriage in New Caprica, most recently to "Earth" (the Hell connection being: She's gone, she's seemingly dead, and she vanished by dropping into an abyss).
Not an Olympian, though. But after all--should Miss Thrace really be one of the virgin goddesses?
