Frolicking fun. Really.
Sep. 27th, 2003 01:19 amWe didn't quite finish watching M in German today, so I'm going to borrow the DVD from the German department at some point and watch the last fifteen minutes or so. It's a cool film.
Approaches to Literature didn't produce any more portraits today, but this is possibly be because, from where I was sitting, the only person I could safely draw at the same time as looking at William was William himself, and he just moves absolutely masses. I mean, he was giving the lecture, but even so.
Evening, I watched Angel 5.1 and 2, but without
girlwithjournal because she decided it would be too traumatic for her. There are some very good quotes in there, but I'll abstain from copying them out here. Really. *twitches* Then I bought some apples and honey and took them over to her place, so the two of us and
lordelessar could feel like proper Jews. I spent the rest of the evening a) proofreading a couple of her essays, b) watching TV, and c) being entertained by the antics of
lordelessar,
dizzyditz,
nenar, and
taurendur.
girlwithjournal wasn't in a very antic-y sort of mood. The TV that I watched was my first ever episode of "Dead Like Me," the season finale obviously being a great place to start. The opening credits are fantastic. I'm now attempting to download some episodes, because I promised
girlwithjournal that I would. Not that she's told me which ones she hasn't seen, but I'll forgive her.
Maybe I'm getting old. I sat on the couch and watched the aforementioned antic-y people having a tickle-war-cum-pillow-fight on
nenar's bed, and I felt absolutely no volition to join in.
Tomorrow I'm going to see "Winged Migration" on IMAX with
leech, and in the evening I'm doing the ultimately geeky thing of going to a spoken Latin dinner. But before you gasp too loudly,
mciac, I'm only going because a friend whom I haven't seen for quite a while is going to be there.
