Oh! And gossip for mciac that I so very nearly forgot! (Except, of course, it might not be gossip to you, but I can always hope.)

So the guy from German that was at Oktoberfest is in linguistics. And hence knows Alyssa (sorry sschmitt!). And he'd previously met Deb w/ Corinne in tow, but before they were going out. And he says that he saw Deb at a party of Alyssa's a couple weeks ago, and out of general courtesy said "Where's your little friend?" not knowing that there was anything between the two of them. And Deb, apparently, said "Oh, we're not together any more." So.... GOSSIP!!! That I didn't know, but feel I really ought to verify before saying anything to anyone actually relevant.

Of course it's news to me...I've had mayve two conversations with Deb since she started seeing Corinne.

Yeah, I've spoken to her fairly little, too. And besides, not exactly the sort of thing one just comes out and asks. Just glad I didn't say anything about the two of them before this!

Hey. I had provocation then. Whereas I'm not going to pipe up halfway through a conversation and say, "BTW, Deb, just out of the blue 'cause I'm a nosey little sod, are you and Corinne still together?"
