darcydodo1. Do you like to shop? Why or why not?
By and large, no. I get bored. It completely depends on the store, though. Clothes shopping, yuck — places like Pier 1 Imports, where I can just browse, are good.
2. What was the last thing you purchased?
Bottle of wine yesterday afternoon. Harmony Cellars merlot. (Harmony is a 12-person town near Cambria.)
3. Do you prefer shopping online or at an actual store? Why?
Store; I like to try things on, or look through them, or see how they actually look.
4. Did you get an allowance as a child? How much was it?
Yeah. Five cents for a long while, later 15.... I never did anything for it, though. Later I might have been given a few dollars a week, or something. But my parents bought me pretty much anything I wanted, anyway, and I didn't ask for too much. Except books. When books started getting expensive and I kept buying them lots, my mom said I had to buy my own books. Most kids I knew had to buy their own clothes, and not their books. ;)
5. What was the last thing you regret purchasing?
Uh. Can't actually remember, since I don't buy things too often. Oh, I know, but I don't regret it too much: after I bought the two CDs from OTR (On the Rocks, Oregon State's a capella group), John's girlfriend Marcy said, "Oh, I have both of those, I would have burned them for you." But supporting OTR is good, too, just expensive.
