darcydodoLet's see if I can get this written and posted before the (very shaky) wireless disconnects.
I finished "Snow Crash" and may possibly remember to comment on it later.
I managed to get my parents to watch the Daily Show; my mom said she didn't like Jon Stewart! *gasp* I said she just needed to watch more, clearly.
In exchange, I watched a bit of Law & Order before that; it bores me immensely, but it got much less boring when I realized that the D.A. was being played byKate Elisabeth Rohm! She still seemed practically like a police detective, so 'twas all very fitting. :)
New Year's Eve afternoon we're probably going to see RotK at the Alamo Drafthouse, which is a theater where they serve you a meal along with your movie... it will, I'm sure, be a bit distracting, but it was the only way I was going to get to see the movie in the next two weeks.
I think that's all the immediate news, and I don't want to press my luck on the wireless.
