How can they get my hopes up that Willow's going to come to LA, and then dash them so soon after? Fuck the Scoobies for not trusting Angel, and fuck Spike for not admitting that he's back, because then they'd probably send Willow to LA just to check that out.

I was amused by the reference to Ralph's — as

girlwithjournal says, I love LA in-jokes.

Fred is hot in her Illyria guise. Somehow, she looks as though she has more meat on her bones than previously. On the other hand, the unblinkingness of her eyes is highly disturbing, especially with their new Extra Glowy Blueness (tm). But the blue/purple on the rest of her is majorly cool.

Illyria's going to have to go bad again, because Wes helping her just somehow phase out of the plane, or whatever they're planning on, would be far to tame and goopy for "Angel."

Oh, and Amy Acker is amazing at her switch between Fred and Illyria. Did you notice the different intonations in her voice during the little memory-spurt sequence? And she moves so differently, too. I say again, very, very sexy.
