4: WITHOUT LOOKING, guess what the time is?:

11:15

5: Now look at the clock, what is the actual time?:

Holy shit... 11:15.

6: With the exception of the computer, what can you hear?:

I was chewing on something as I read this, so my teeth clicking together... otherwise, pretty well nothing. Very faint sounds from cars going along Telegraph. Louder sounds from cars going (less frequently) along Ashby.

7: When did you last step outside? what were you doing?:

When I got out of the car at home, after dropping [livejournal.com profile] girlwithjournal and [livejournal.com profile] filmgeek at their home, which in turn was after leaving Sarah & Emily's seder.

8: Before you came to this website, what did you look at?:

E-mail, some wave files of Simon & Garfunkel, some Latin.

9: What are you wearing?:

Dark green stretch jeans, black Ecco sneakers, a shirt with an Indian design, a jean jacket.

10: Did you dream last night?

I don't remember. Maybe.

11: When did you last laugh?

In the car, driving [livejournal.com profile] girlwithjournal and [livejournal.com profile] filmgeek home; I was busy scandalizing [livejournal.com profile] girlwithjournal in front of her brother. :)

12: What is on the walls of the room you are in?:

A poster of Waterhouse's La Belle Dame Sans Merci, the old Getty "A Passion for Antiquities" poster, bookshelves. And some hooks for pictures that aren't being used, because I don't have frames for the pictures I would otherwise hang on them. Except one is holding the wire antenna of my stereo.

13: Seen anything weird lately?:

Two people, a man and a woman, riding down the street on their bicycles. That in itself wasn't weird, but they both had very long hair, and I think it was tinged purple, and one or both of them may have been wearing tophats and/or skirts, but I'm really not positive, because they were riding right at me, on my side of the street, and so I had to pay more attention to making sure they didn't hit me than why it was that they looked so strange.

14: What do you think of this quiz?:

It's a strange extension of the quiz I took last night. (Hence the questions starting at #4.)

15: What is the last film you saw?:

Full-length? Secretary, which I've seen before. We watched it at [livejournal.com profile] dizzyditz's birthday.

16: If you became a multi-millionaire overnight, what would you buy first?:

Err. Some DVDs that I've been wanting? I'm so materialistic. :) (I'd do other things with the money, too, but that's what I'd buy first, because I already know I want them.)

17: Tell me something about you that I don't know:

When I was born, there was a fairly thick layer of hair covering my entire forehead.

18: If you could change one thing about the world, regardless of guilt or politics, what would you do?:

Stop discrimination, of any sort. To choose one, of many, possibilities.

19: Do you like to dance?:

Yes, some kinds of dancing more than others.

20: Imagine your first child is a girl, what do you call her?:

Tali. Well, that or Hollis. Those are the two names that I want to give a daughter.

21: Imagine your first child is a boy, what do you call him?:

Much less certain about this one. Kind-of-ish like Jason. Really don't know.

22: Would you ever consider living abroad?:

Have done already.

23: Will you pass on this survey?:

It's posted. Whether it gets passed on or not is out of my control.... Actually, I guess that means I have passed it on, doesn't it? OK, yes, I shall.

hair on your forehead? jet girl had hairy shoulders, apparently. we like to joke that in most historical eras, for her eyes and her shoulders she would have been left for dead as the child of the devil/some other type of creature.

the joke, i think, lies in the fact that we modern, more "sophisticated" folk let her live. *grin*
