Belated recognition

I just watched "Waiting in the Wings," and as soon as the ballerina came on, I knew she looked familiar. But I couldn't for the life of me figure out why. It's not as though I'm going to recognize any real ballerinas, and she looked pretty real. Later, when she stopped wearing the little milkmaid-looking costume and was in the gown, she looked perhaps a little less familiar, though still hauntingly so, and I decided that it was just a general Russian ballerina look, confirmed to me when her character did indeed have a Russian accent. But then the episode's credits flashed by. Summer Glau. River. Who, of course, dances several times in the course of Firefly. I can't believe I didn't recognize her for herself, but I'm thick like that, sometimes.

Anybody know if she has actual classical training?
