(no subject)

I went to a screening of Underworld with girlwithjournal tonight. Frankly, it sucked, but I got a much better end of the deal than Girl did, 'cause I got to stare at Kate Beckinsale throughout the entire film. I've had a crush on her since 1993, when I saw Much Ado About Nothing — and that was a full five years before I began to realize that I was gay. I won't exactly say I've been a loyal fan, 'cause I didn't see anything starring her after that (which I attribute to her poor choice of films), but that was her first movie, so I feel that I deserve some credit for having had such an enduring crush. Besides, in my lj sitcom, she plays sampiano, so I feel extra special. ;) I wonder if I'm somehow magically drawn to films in which she faints. And in case anyone's curious, she pretty much embodies my "type," insofar as I have one. (Which, thinking back, I guess I must.)

psychopepsquad and a few of her friends were also there; they provided a very good peanut gallery. Or is it a popcorn gallery, since it was at a film? Anyway.

100 Books and Movies meme

I have not read far too many of these books. Some of them I look at and think, Why haven't I read that? But I haven't.
I also have not seen far too many of these films. *sigh*
