Ooh, I just had a "fun" thought: what if the amulet actually burned up Spike's soul, so that he comes back as soulless!Spike? *eg*

It might make a difference; if, for example, he did have a certain amount of amnesia, since he'd now be unsouled and unchipped... you never know what could happen. ;)

Well, going back to Randy ('cause Randy's my boy now), he was unsouled, and the chip was never an issue. He didn't want to bite Buffy, er, Joan, remember? I don't think Spike's nature is naturally all grr argh.

I know... but despite the fact that I do think Spike was redeemable etc, I want there to be some way for evil!Spike to at least make some reappearance. Human!Spike would, of course, be a good thing too, and it seems likely that he did shanshu.

In entirely other news, my mom's colleague has a DVD-writer, so if I can figure out how on earth to use it and which sort of writeable DVD I'm supposed to use, I might be able to copy the Buffy DVDs. ;)

you mighrt also have to get some software that can take care of any encryption that might be on the dvds--that could be an isue (my housemate just got a dvd burner, so he's getting that fighured out, too.)
funny, my first thoght was "buffy!" when he got it.
again, i fijnd myself having to apologize for typing with taped fingers.
