darcydodoI figure that I should put down a couple of my ideas from last week's BSG episode before I see tonight's.
The whole other-copy-of-Athena thing is totally going to come back to bite someone in the ass. But I don't know if it's going to be Athena, Helo, not!Athena, or all of the above. Probably what will happen is real!Athena will die somehow, and then not!Athena is going to try and take her place because, well, no more resurrection for cylons. Or something.
Also, that accessing-memories thing totally explains why it seemed like sometimes cylons had the ability to know anything that other versions of their model knew, and sometimes they didn't. I also think that, relatedly, centurions may all have some sort of central/shared awareness or something, because Baltar's evangelism can't have had no consequences. It looks like he got off scot-free (well, apart from the almost-dying when the centurion exploded, but we can't have everything), but in fact I bet that his message about God reached all the centurions.
I bet this next week focuses back on the Four, or else the storylines are going to completely reknit or something, because there's the still-unresolved cliff-hanger from the previous week of Caprica!Six being pregnant.
Also, of course, Lee's presidency hasn't even had the chance to go anywhere on-screen before Laura's going to be coming back; will he oppose her? Will someone else oppose her on his behalf?
Irrelevantly, I still find it very odd that Six seems to be the only cylon who doesn't have a single name that we use for her entire line (like D'Anna, Sharon, Leoben, Simon, Cavill, and Doral). Then again, she seems to be the one model that was properly seeded throughout the fleet before the destruction of the colonies. And her copies do often seem to have their own names (Gina, of course, and Shelly, but also Natalie, who totally didn't need a name of her own).
