The end is nigh...
Mar. 20th, 2009 09:27 amI'm excited for the last episode of BSG tonight. I had missed most of the half-season, and I've been quickly catching up over the last few nights; I have one episode before the final one left. My parents have an HD-DVR, though, so I'm recording it and the actual final episode on that and will watch them tonight! It looks like the SCIFI-HD channel is showing the episode early, though (east coast time, I can only assume!), as well as at normal time, so I may get to watch the episode as soon as I'm back from working at the Getty....
I think that the ex-7, Daniel, must, somehow, be connected with Kara, or rather with her father. I figured out way early on that the pianist was a figment, but if it was her father, even as a young man, why wouldn't she have recognized him? Still confused there. But didn't I always say there had to have been a thirteenth cylon?!
If Galen & Tori were a couple, in the way-back-when, did Anders have anyone? I'm also intrigued by the pairings between the Final Five (minus Ellen) and the new Cylons or not!Cylons-but-with-visions-etc: Tigh and Caprica, Tyrol and Boomer, Anders and Kara, and to some extent, Tori and Gaius.
Still wanting to know about the whole proto-Christianity vs Olympians thing.... *sigh*

Date: 2009-03-20 07:44 pm (UTC)And some of them are, I think, un-resolvable. (Like, say, just how was it that Col. Tigh managed to fight in the first Cylon War?) I think the show is locally brilliant--the mutiny episodes were great, I thought--but I think the overarching "And They Have A Plan" plot is a hopeless mess.
