A mixed bag

elemy left this morning (yes, it's only 6:30am, and I'm already back from the airport), which means I should probably start doing work. But I have a cold, and I'm going to milk it for all it's worth, and probably stay in bed half the day. And only go out to garden. If anyone wants to come over, though, I might be able to see my way to actually getting dressed.

I saw sunset last night (we went and had drinks at Skates and watched the sun going down over the hills of North Bay with no fog covering them). This morning I saw what passed for sunrise as I was coming back from the airport. I didn't see the actual sun come up, not sure why, but I saw the sky go from being black to being bluish-grey with a big light gold patch over the Berkeley hills.

Had an amusing idea for a Quizilla-type-thing, but I'd never implement it. Besides, I'm sure it must exist somewhere.

unless you have caffeine and would want to watch a movie or something.

I have got caffeine (in the form of tea or coffee), but no real way to watch a movie. There's the laptop's DVD player, but that gets awkward for two people to watch.

yeah, my friend nicole and i did that with her region 2 season 3 of buffy. that was....interesting.
if my housemate wasn't in the process of moving out, i would invite you over to my place, but i think that would be just as awkward, what with the couch being taken out from under us, and all.

well...no movie. ok. i'm waking up a bit. with caffeine i could be almost at my normal slower than average speed. i think the meeting will run for about an hour, maybe less...would you want company at around 12:30-1?
