Gee, as if I haven't got enough displacement already. Why is it that I can think of lots of amorphous but cool-seeming thoughts while I'm reading articles on a subject and wandering aimlessly around campus, and when I actually sit down to write out my ideas I just get a discouraging blank and am forced to find solace in completely irrelevant activities?

Yeah, well. It was probably the Buffy merchandise question that got me, 'cause the only 'I don't have any' option said something like "What? There's Buffy merchandise? What sort of freak would buy that?" ;)

*snicker* That, of course, depends how you interpreted it! (Except I know full well how you interpreted it.) Might I point out the intentional capitalization of 'Spike'? You clearly need to read that blog you were telling me about more carefully and extrapolate from context. :)

Actually I have at least an idea who Spike is; Mike (as in Aileen's fiancé) has a Spike alter ego whom I've met on several occasions.
