At the really really brief 9/11 lunchtime memorial on Sproul today, the president of the graduate assembly quoted L. Ron Hubbard. This disappoints me. It also disappoints me how much people are wrapped up in themselves that the minute of silence didn't extend past about 15 feet or so of the microphone.

On an entirely different topic, I finally discovered the rumored Dwinelle computer lab. All the computers are PCs (yay!) and have flat screen monitors. And the rows and other signs are all labeled with Calvin and Hobbes images.

The only problem is it's in yet another windowless room. This is a Not Good Thing. I'm going to go see if they're handing out vitamin water again. :)

It's about time you found the dwinelle computer lab. I've known about it since before I got here. :P Strange, though, that for such a hidden place it can fill up rather quickly. Speaking of Dwinelle, havve you found Ishi Court yet? I imagine so, but I'm curious.

Given that the Classics dept. is on the Ishi Court half of Dwinelle, it'd be a bit strange if I hadn't found it. We have some of our department receptions there, when the weather's nice.
