The Berkeley Market on Telegraph has Ben & Jerry's Coffee Heath Bar Crunch. My life may again be complete, at least if I can get some home without it melting too badly.

Tonight I went to see a free screening of Airplane at what turned out to be essentially the anarchists' community center of Berkeley. So the people-watching was as amusing as the film. Kristen and I were most impressed with what we had stumbled into. Then I went to see girlwithjournal and nenar and got fed cake and helped nenar with Greek accents. Fuck Stroud for making accents count as much as everything else. That's just wrong.

And Duggan hasn't gotten back to me about mediaeval French pronunciation. This is not a good thing. *sigh*

you may also want to get hold of David Hult. he also teaches Old French. if neither one of them gets back to you, my friend charity knows old french much better than i do, so i will get hold of her before offering to help myself, although i could help.

Thanks. It wouldn't be so urgent or such a problem if I hadn't said I'd try and find out by this weekend. I don't suppose you'd be available at some point today for stopgap pronunciation help so that we have some idea what we're doing?
