Ooo, there is? *hunts for it* I like her Earth Mage books, and the knew ones - about another chick from Mindelean? I like those a lot.

Whee! Et tu, LadyCat? & ;-)

We should found a community for Tamora Pierce lovers.

She's pretty popular around here; I read the Lioness quartet and the Daine one as well but stopped then; have to pick it up some day...

The next quartet isn't bad. The last book is. . . well, it leaves something to be desired plot-wise, but I really liked the books nonetheless. And we should. I love Tamora Pierce :)

Heh. Plot bit too thin? Will read it and find out for myself ASAP.

Found a community called-- surprise, surprise!-- [livejournal.com profile] tortall that actually seems to be rather active.

Not too thin so much as. . . the other two series had these huge sweeping finishes. And this one didn't. It ended, yeah, and it wasn't plot less just. . . not quite as satisfying. But that's also the nature of the character, so I'm not knocking it.

And ooo! *friends*

I love Alanna!!!

The Song of the Lioness quartet is *so* much better than the rest of her stuff, though. Have you all read the "Winding Circle" quartets? They're rather... blah in comparison.

What are "high rotation" books? Ones that spin nicely? :D

Hee! "High rotation" - things we re-read very often, at least that's my assumption. I like yours better ;)

And I really like the Daine books, they were good. Haven't read anything non-Tortall.
