I think I may be sick. No, honestly. I just cannot believe that this happened. You know, until now, I had some vague faith in human intelligence. Clearly, I was wrong.

Tomorrow should be a day of mourning. I'm going to go to sleep now and hope that somehow it's all gone when I wake up.

I didn't even know you were that interested in politics.

I'm interested in politics that affect me directly. Such as, who's going to be president of the United States, or who's going to be governor of my own. Surely you remember how cross and upset I was when Bush was elected? Kind of similar, now, except this is Schwartzenegger. Not necessarily any worse than the whole Bush thing, except at the same time there's this sort of disbelief that such a farcical, horrible thing could actually be happening.

I remember the Bush election, you refused to go to sleep until you knew the result. Though thankfully you eventually did realize that you weren't going to survive staying awake for as long as it would take.

I'm very sorry about California getting the wrong governor. Democracy can be pooey like that sometimes. I apologize for misunderstanding your original post, too.
