[livejournal.com profile] leech and I actually managed to plan the seder, which is cool but slightly puzzling because it means we actually planned something more than a whole day in advance! Might be a personal best. ;) Lots of grocery shopping on Saturday. Lots of cooking on Saturday. Funnnnnnnn. :)

Also, I really randomly ran into [livejournal.com profile] dizzyditz. So we have now officially met by complete coincidence, and I probably freaked her out by figuring out that she was she.

Who is this [livejournal.com profile] leech? Another choir geek? (Curious, that's all, since you're one of the few in the dept who seems to have friends outside of the dept. That's me complimenting you, in case you blinked. ::wink::

You cook a lot. I hear you make good food. You should cook for me sometime. It would be much appreciated. :)

Are you kidding? I was delighted! That's the kind of randomness that I try, but fail miserably at(see me asking about that guy Nicole met at the post).

Good luck with the seder, babe. You know I still have those little cards you made for the pesach sheni we did ages ago with A, you know, the cute little lamb representing the shankbone and all that?

Talking of which, my linguistic fact for the year: you know the word 'pesach', it means 'pass over', hence 'passover', right? Well, 'parently it originally means the stumbling gait of a little lamb who hasn't learnt how to walk properly yet. So the Angel of Death trips along like a newborn lamb and sort of stumbles over the Israelites' houses. Isn't that a lovely image? Might come in useful for ce soir anyway.

I'd better go, I have a class to teach in the Kingdom.

A cotton ball lamb? Aww, ducks. I'm glad you like my factling.

I meant a class *in the Kingdom*, which is the name for the other side of the river (it's actually an earldom, but they call it a kingdom for some reason). I said it because I love that phrase. Was a good class despite the presence of a tiny screaming creature.

I'm off to durps for 'beer and bad movies night'. Good luck with seder preparations.
