I love German titles. I'm checking over something for monanotlisa and came across Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. so-and-so. :) It always reminds me of that one bit in Lolita where Humbert Humbert is talking to the German woman.

It can get much worse than that.

His wife would be Frau Prof. Prof. Dr. Dr. Dr. Dr. Dr. Dr. Dr ? Wirth and if she has some doctorates of her own, she can add them to the list (I have a relative who is Frau Dr. Dr. Dr., one doctorate being her own and two her husband's (or possibly the other way round))
