I was searching for references to Roberts' Greek Literary Hands... and came up with a Greek dating site. Yeah, that sort of dating.
I went to see BareStage's production tonight. It's really pretty good; they've got some very good actresses. They've also got some less good actresses, but by and large, it was fairly high caliber. There was also a very unbelievable lesbian kiss in there. But they tried. ;)
Is it possible to be addicted to melted cheese? 'Cause I really think I am.

judytuna today, who for unknown causes didn't show up. They definitely needed her, in part for organization. But her absence meant I got to hear Angela sing, and that was cool. I didn't realize she wrote "Climbing" (or whatever it's called); I love that song.
Had lunch with Ainsley; we went to Le Petit Cheval. Their $5 special is really an awfully good deal, in that it provides leftovers for a more normal sized lunch later. I also bought a Pirate Card today so, special offers of Berkeley, here I come. Wish I'd bought one before, but I didn't really understand how they worked until recently. Also, I thought they were valid for much less time.
Found a parallel hand for the recto of my text in a volume of P.Berol. images I was glancing through; then I discovered that it was a hand already mentioned in GLH as a parallel for the Hyperides papyrus. Go me. I can spot hands! Though it's actually got a lot more differences than the other two hands. Incidentally, whoever it was that did the editio princeps in the Tebtunis volume was a half-assed fuckwit who couldn't edit his way out of an unmarked brown paper bag. He doesn't say anything about anything, just gives a transcription with a couple mentions of departures from the established text.
