Grr, I was worried about that. There are a couple other versions that might be slightly more legible, but if you've got a mac (with a nice screen?) and still can't read it, maybe it's doomed. But I just liked the font so much! :) Anyway, what it says is: 'the ghost in the mirror'
So what's the order on legibility, and what's the order on attractiveness? (Call the original one a, the one with just red writing b, and the last one c)
Damn damn damn, there goes my brilliant idea for your birthday present! I knew I should have just gone ahead and bought the subscription, and not waited for your birthday.
Now, if I were really subtle, I would not reveal this to you, and instead find something else equally good and pretend I'd been thinking of it all along. However the chances of my achieving this in the next couple of weeks are too slim to be worth contemplating.
I like this one a lot less than your 'Sapphic stanzas' thingy. But you need a paid account because you'll obviously go on and design more icons, you're good at that plus you like displacing. (Would you believe you've managed to corrupt M, indirectly, into playing the livejournal game? *cackles*
I agree it's not as pretty as the other, but I think it could be; I think I just need to fiddle it some more and figure out precisely what it's missing.
No, but he spent most of his lunchtime yesterday playing at trying to match lj IDs to his real life friends' names, and then telling me about it excitedly. This is definitely your fault.
As for getting a journal, we are both encouraging eachother in our resistance :-P We both have a lot of resisting to do; E (I'm not including his lj user ID because he wants to stay anonymous) has been working on M for some months, and I have you to resist. *sigh*
Clearly E and I should be joining forces to work our wiles in a concerted effort. Anyway, I guess I now have 12 codes... so I should probably give you one of them.... ;)

Oh well, congratulations anyway, I suppose.
