The Berkeley Market on Telegraph has Ben & Jerry's Coffee Heath Bar Crunch. My life may again be complete, at least if I can get some home without it melting too badly.

Tonight I went to see a free screening of Airplane at what turned out to be essentially the anarchists' community center of Berkeley. So the people-watching was as amusing as the film. Kristen and I were most impressed with what we had stumbled into. Then I went to see [livejournal.com profile] girlwithjournal and [livejournal.com profile] nenar and got fed cake and helped [livejournal.com profile] nenar with Greek accents. Fuck Stroud for making accents count as much as everything else. That's just wrong.

And Duggan hasn't gotten back to me about mediaeval French pronunciation. This is not a good thing. *sigh*

I have this disturbing feeling I'm going to end up writing S/X (almost)-slash for the Lyric Wheel challenge. I don't do S/X! For a start, I doubt that I can write either of them (mad!Spike was different). But it seems to be what the song's calling for, and that's such an unlikely thing for me to write otherwise that I'm inclined to believe it actually is the song, and not me quietly hoping for a theme like that. Well, I guess that's what I'll be doing tonight after I'm done going to Walgreens, cleaning out the car, and making sure I've got everything I want to take on retreat with me. And possibly doing some dishes.

Nice sun coming through the window. Mmm.

My Angel season 2 DVDs came, and they're all shiny* and new! Angel looks as much of a pensive twat as always, which is reassuring. And... wow... maybe I'm actually starting my Angel & Buffy collection. How much money down the drain? Erk. I suppose it's not actually down the drain, though, and they are definitely things that I'll watch over and over.

My dilemma now (or, rather, when I actually go to watch them): do I finish my game of Inertia first, which could take absolutely forever, or do I just scrap the Inertia game because I know I'll have to crash my computer in order to watch the DVDs?

* shiny except for where the cover's matte, at least.
