At long last...

Maybe I scared him.
Anyway, he soon calmed down:

Yes,
mciac, I realize that I was wearing a t-shirt. But it's a good t-shirt that has flowers and their Latin names on it, so I forbid you to be disapproving. Not that this will actually stop you, I realize. ;)

Well, I can't imagine they are, but we tend to be picky with those depictions of ourselves. & ;-)
Err, mciac thinks they're unflattering.
*g* Ah, then you can take it: Not a huge T-shirt fan myself-- even if I was really skinny, they would not be trendy enough, really. I try to go for classy, slightly sporty, sometimes hip clothing-- dark pants, simple-but-spiffy tops, blouses, thin pullovers, black leather shoes (whether high heels or sneakers).
Not that you wanted to know, but hey, this is what you get when dealing with extroverts. *g*
Besides which, she disapproves with things that have words or pictures on them
LOL-- a girl after my own liking.

Definitely the way I was raised when it comes to clothing: unicolour, if possible, less quantity, more quality, classy stuff, basically.
She basically thinks I don't dress well enough. ;)
Heh. My sister would like her, too; she's very much like Cher in Clueless at times: "Gee, she's really pretty...but screaming for a make-over." & ;-)

Date: 2003-10-17 04:58 pm (UTC)With the trousers, especially, I just really don't like wearing things other than jeans. It'd be OK if lost some weight around my hips, but as it is, if I don't wear jeans, the fronts of my legs stick out funny. Possibly I should just go to the gym occasionally, I think that would probably help. ;)
And I have very little sense of style. *grin*

::looks cute::
It's just because we think you're too pretty to be lost in the realms of less perfect clothing. & :-)

Now, wouldn't it..? *g*

Darlin', & ;-) you just haven't found the right line of clothing, then. I assume you don't have especially weird legs, so there should be *some* cut that fits well.
I usually have to search around quite a bit...

Heh. So true. I went jogging and swimming during summer; just have to convince myself now that it's chilly and dark...

And I'm a silly dork, Darcy; of course, I meant *myself* when I talked about the fact losing a few pounds might be a good idea...
